Welcome to our new adventure, sunflowers! If you don’t already know, my name is Makayla Brooke, the author of Beautiful Disaster. I published Beautiful Disaster about four years ago, and I’ve been a bit on the down low ever since. Though I am extremely thankful for all the support, I’ve haven’t been sure of how to promote my writing. "Starving Artist" is a term I've come to know was not just a saying. My fellow artists, I'm sure, can vouge for this. With that being said, I’m thrilled to have you stop by and check out my website. This gem has been in the works for quite some time, and finally it's ready to be seen. This project is incredibly special to me, and I am ecstatic to share it with you. With this website I’ll have the ability to blog weekly, interact with you about Beautiful Disaster, expanding on some of the topics in it, sharing never before seen work, and teasers for my upcoming projects. Bear with me, I’ll be learning as I go! This is a great place for you to get to know me, and I’m looking forward to getting to know you, too.
